INspirATION PLAY EXPRESSION
Make the Difference.
99% of Youth Players in America miss out on essential tools for development in
their training.
This means that almost all American youth players will need to rely on physical
qualities that will fizzle in their significance over time, or they become what
JuanMa Lillo calls, “two touch robots.”
In truth, anyone can play one and two-touch soccer.
But, you do not want to be anyone.
You want to be someone.
You want to be the 1%.
If you want to be the 1%, you need to train like the 1%.
The 1% maximize the time they spend on the pitch because they train with
effectiveness.
We’re here to help you do that.
We're here to help you make the difference.

mission
We exist to help players who have a love and curiosity for the ball. Through this infatuation, we aim
to develop top-level players.
If you have not found this yet, we hope to help you experience it.
To dominate modern soccer, you must have elite ability in 1v1 situations. Those who master 1v1s
have everything they need to escape pressure and punish opponents in a moment’s notice.
We train this quality with the aim to develop Difference Makers.
Our Programs
Make the Difference

We train to perform in matches.
Nothing replaces the arena.
Having trained hard throughout the month, show up and enjoy the reward of playing with freedom.
At the end of each month, players enjoy free-play games. These games offer players a platform to demonstrate the craft they hone in training.
Matches come free of charge for players who participated in training earlier in the given month.
Show your skills, earn prizes, and enjoy. Attendance dictates the teams and the structure of the games.
We provide training bibs, so wear whatever you want.

Meet your coach

MY EXPERIENCE:
Thank you for your interest in Difference Maker! My name is Alec Anselmo. I found an infatuation
with the ball from a young age, and my continued love for the ball, as well as helping others take the
next steps in their development, spurred my coaching journey.
My love for the ball helped me earn a scholarship to play at the University of Pittsburgh’s Division 1
program, an NCAA and ACC power, as well as at Division 1 Duquesne University. Following my
collegiate career, I signed a professional contract with Stumptown AC in NISA.
At every level of my playing journey, I worked under coaches who made a difference in my life as a
player and as a person.
As a trainer, I aim to use my experiences from the youth level to the pros to help players improve
their game and reach their goals. I view soccer as a means to build relationships and encourage
others to be their best.
I coach both U14 and U17 Boys as well as U13 Girls at West-Mont United.
Let’s Make the Difference, together.

Health, Safety & Covid 19
Health & Safety come before soccer.
Difference Maker vows to provide a safe environment for players to master their craft.
Covid 19: Coaches who are fully vaccinated will not be wearing a mask during sessions. Athletes are not required to wear masks during sessions. Coaches may wear masks upon request of parents/guardians. Hand Sanitizer & Wipes will be provided at session.
Shin Guards: Failure to bring shin guards will result in limited participation during practices. Participants must wear shin guards during fully-opposed training.
Water: Players need to bring plenty of water. Even when the weather is cool, players must stay hydrated.
Pick-Up: Parents are welcomed to watch their children train. After training, children are allowed to be picked-up only by a verified parent/guardian. A coach will always be the last person at the training location.
